the market has a low floor and almost no ceiling. suppliers appear overnight with polished websites and little else. products are marketed with bold claims and thin evidence. certificates of analysis are selectively shared, difficult to verify, falsified, or generated by labs with no meaningful independence. sourcing is opaque. handling standards vary wildly. and when researchers ask hard questions, the answers are rarely satisfying.
the result is an industry where the burden falls on the buyer. where due diligence is exhausting. where trust is extended by default because there's no easy alternative.
we think that's backwards.
raising the bar isn't complicated. it means being transparent about where products come from. it means third-party testing you can actually trace. it means documentation that exists not to satisfy a checkbox, but to give researchers real confidence in what they're working with. it means being the kind of company that welcomes scrutiny rather than deflects it.
good research depends on reliable materials. inconsistent purity, poor handling, and undocumented sourcing don't just undermine results — they waste time, resources, and effort. the standard of the supplier matters.
that's the standard we hold ourselves to at sunday. not because we have to, because we think the research community deserves better than what this market has typically offered.
